• Use your Library’s Online Catalog by finding your campus’s link at http://www.kcreache.org/.
• Note that most book records will contain other subject terms that you can use in your research strategies.  Click on the book title to find these.
• Use your campus ID number to request books from other locations – ask a librarian for assistance.

Can't think of the right terms to use when searching?  Try these two methods: 

• Use Library of Congress Subject Headings online at http://lcmarc.dra.com/db/LCAUTH/subject.html find subject headings - conduct a subject search in an online catalog

Use keyword search and type in most likely words to describe your topic (these are called keywords)
